And we are almost into summer...well the calendar says we should be.
Hope your weather is cooperating.
So what are some of your summer plans? Any hikes? Are the knees holding you back?
I recently met with some 'almost' seniors and was a bit taken back by how many were dealing with knee pain. Yuck.
I consider most pain optional and I personally like to opt out.
I have addressed this several times, but whenever I experience something positive, I like to share. I want everyone to be as happy and healthy as possible.
After this month of mourning due to our loss of Robbin Williams, I thought we would hit thisDEPRESSIONtopic.
If you are alive, you no doubt have had a round of this.
No energy, loss of energy
Feelings of worthlessness, self loathing, unloved
Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
Loss of interest in daily activities/ no zest for life
Appetite or weight changes, uncontrolled eating
Sleep changes/sleeping beyond normal times, not sleeping
Anger or irritability
In the family we have had an accident which I am not ready to able talk about just yet. But lets say it was an accident and there was brain injury/trauma. So I have been dealing with brain issues for a month or what feels like a lifetime. I have learned soooo much!
Lately, I have been seeing lots and lots of TOXINS and toxins in the brain. So where do these toxins come from? I think mostly life. There are some we can avoid, some we should avoid and others we need to just deal with.
What can we avoid?
Marijuana….THE REST OF THE STORY…
Well, this could be a sacred cow for some people.
Of course I am not going to condone the use, but I will state, used in the appropriate circumstances marijuana use is or should be acceptable.
I have a friend whose son suffers from extreme seizures and headaches since an auto accident of several years ago.
He uses marijuana to alleviate the headaches and seizures. It has worked for several years and improved the family dynamic, but it has not cured or thoroughly controlled the symptoms.
I wanted to share some of the concepts I learned about while at the recent Body Code Seminar. Then I spoke with a friend this morning and realized what the first concept will be: The power of the mind.
Do you want to manifest good health? Well, start on the path with a healthy mind. I am grateful we have abilities now to tap into that subconscious part and figure out what we need to do to make things better for ourselves.
Dr. Pesek gives a startling example of the power of the mind. The mother of one of his students gives this personal story.
