It has been an interesting spring and now we embark on Summer.
But with the rain and coolness, I am wondering if someone forgot to tell Mother Nature where we are supposed to be with all this.
So today I'm singing the praises of Liz. Liz is my neighbor and we visit from time-time.
I managed to use a few good days we had and get outside and work in the yard. I believe in dirt therapy. Works wonders for the soul and the body.
While out working around I managed to rile up some wasps and took quite a beating from them.
And we are almost into summer...well the calendar says we should be.
Hope your weather is cooperating.
So what are some of your summer plans? Any hikes? Are the knees holding you back?
I recently met with some 'almost' seniors and was a bit taken back by how many were dealing with knee pain. Yuck.
I consider most pain optional and I personally like to opt out.
I have addressed this several times, but whenever I experience something positive, I like to share. I want everyone to be as happy and healthy as possible.
I got all gung-ho and decided I needed a body cleanse. I wanted a real one this time. I had used the EasyCleanse, but I decided this was going to be a fasting/juice cleanse. So I opted for the 3 DAY JUICE CLEANSE. We can thank Dr. Christopher for this. Dr. Christopher felt this was a great cellular cleanse also as it went so deep. And it is quick. And the last few things I have read suggest that the body can manufacture it's own stem cells when fasting is involved. Fascinating!
Just as a reminder, these are MY opinions formed from MY experiences, but I find these very telling.
This is going to be a different post relative to health. I just connected a few dots after a conversation with a family member and clients.
So this week I have dealt with a few cases trapped emotions which were trapped by the individual during their early development, even in utero.
I have seen a negative emotion affecting bone marrow which was causing extreme tiredness. I have seen a negative emotion affecting an asthma situation, which when cleared the asthma was no longer a problem, among a few few other things .
ANTI-AGING, we're talking about the skin this time!
I am all for it...naturally of course.
I have several daughters. I spent some time with them this last week and we started talking about skin, wrinkles, premature aging and the rest. The fact is, we ARE going to age, thankfully so as the alternative isn't all that great. The goal here would be to do it in the least painful way possible.
For my age, and I am eternally 59 at this point, I have pretty good skin. So because my daughters are interested in MORE anti-aging info, I thought to share some of what is out there, at least what I have available right now.
Oh, come on! I know there are people who want to know... "IS THIS NORMAL?"
What is normal? Lots of things! Is there anything Abnormal? Several things.
"Disease begins in the colon," according to Dr. Christopher and many others. You haul the garbage out of your house quite regularly, and it is good to get the garbage out of your system regularly also. Sometimes in my mind I just picture an out-house. Any camper has seen one of these. You had to hold your nose to use it. Well, imagine being a walking out- house.
Welcome to Spring! Or allergy season?
I used to have what I would call 'MAY FEVER.'
Came during the month of May, and ended when May left. Sometimes traveling would flare it up again. Arrrgggghhh..... I found several very good treatments for this allergy. One of the best was good ol' Vitamin C. About 3000 mg a day would help with the allergy.
Some of the other chemical treatments were just that... and left me feeling groggy, or with stomach upset. I just never knew. But hey... it was only May.
After this month of mourning due to our loss of Robbin Williams, I thought we would hit thisDEPRESSIONtopic.
If you are alive, you no doubt have had a round of this.
No energy, loss of energy
Feelings of worthlessness, self loathing, unloved
Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
Loss of interest in daily activities/ no zest for life
Appetite or weight changes, uncontrolled eating
Sleep changes/sleeping beyond normal times, not sleeping
Anger or irritability
I hope everyone is enjoying summer! I love it! Weeds and all!
So it has been one of those weeks with different people having similar issues.
The one that stands out this week is nutritional.
A client of mine has been plagued with muscle/bone ache, some cramps and general malaise. I checked her for misalignments, very few found. This client decided she would use some of the OsteoFX from the Longevity, a product I suggest on this site.
For sometime I have been suggesting to women they monitor their calcium levels.
What a week! The Sugar Blues!!
Some people are just too sweet for their own good!
Seems the issue of the week has been 'Blood Sugar!'
I was averaging one person a day with a blood sugar issue! That is scary, pleased to say that has slowed down!
So what am I finding?
I am seeing people who are actually allergic to sugar. This affects the sugar balance in the body. Okay, we just don't eat sugar. Get real, please. Fruits have sugar in them, starches convert to sugar in the body.
So we look for an underlying trapped energy which may be causing this allergy.
